Perfect labeling – using pad printing
Over the past two decades, pad printing technology has developed at an incredibly rapid pace. This rapid advancement is largely due to the introduction of silicone rubber in the printing process. Silicone rubber is a material that repels ink, making its ink transfer excellent. Modern machines using silicone rubber pads have made it possible to print logos, designs, text, or markings not only on flat, straight surfaces but also on surfaces at varying heights, achieving perfect-quality prints thanks to the height-adjustment mechanism.
As a precursor to pad printing, the gelatin pad method used in the Swiss watch industry allowed numbers to be applied to watch dials. This earlier technique has now been perfected to a very high standard. With pad printing technology, objects of the most diverse shapes can be perfectly branded, and it enables marking on a wide variety of materials. For example, excellent prints can be achieved on wood, plastic, metal, as well as paper, leather, clay, ceramics, and glass.
For the dials of the wristwatches produced by our company, we offer several customization options. One of these is the pad printing technology mentioned above, which can be applied to standard embossed, pearled, or raised-index dials. Our other methods include engraving, photo printing, transfer, mirror printing, offset printing, and screen printing, ensuring that we can produce a wristwatch tailored perfectly to your individual requirements.
